There are times when life can become overwhelming. Depression, anxiety, grief, loss, relationship problems, job related stress and other difficulties can cause many people to feel alone and unhappy. It is during these challenging times that therapy can be a wonderful means of support, insight, and help in finding new ways of dealing with old issues. I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is so important and for that reason, I am committed to providing a safe, confidential environment and will individualize my approach to helping you in order to meet your specific needs and goals.
During our first session, we will spend some time discussing your expectations and needs as well as payment options. I will also be able to answer any questions you may have about the therapeutic process. We will then decide together how often we will meet and what issues we will begin to focus on.
I enjoy working with adolescents and adults from all backgrounds. In addition to my private practice, I continue to work at Good Samaritan Community Services where I have been providing therapy to children, adolescents and adults since 2001.
